Beuchat created the world’s first underwater speargun in 1947, and the HERO continues that legacy with a modern, high‑precision design built around a compact head, an inverted stainless‑steel mechanism, and a crisp, short‑travel trigger. Every element of the HERO is engineered to deliver more power, smoother loading, and cleaner shooting accuracy.

Rear‑Set Inverted Mechanism

The HERO’s inverted 316L stainless‑steel trigger system is positioned at the very back of the grip, increasing band stretch for extra power without increasing overall gun length. The reinforced stainless‑steel cassette absorbs loading forces and maintains long‑term reliability, while the short trigger travel gives fast, predictable firing for reactive shots.

Compact, Low‑Friction Muzzle

The streamlined open muzzle keeps the front of the gun light and manoeuvrable, with dual‑band capacity and a clean spear pathway that reduces friction and improves accuracy. Its compact profile also makes reloading intuitive and fast.

Barrel, Rigging & Control

• 28 mm aluminium barrel with double O‑ring sealing for rigidity and corrosion resistance
• Integrated rail track for stable shaft guidance
• Reversible stainless‑steel line release for left‑ or right‑handed rigging
• Shock absorber for controlled shot termination
• Thumb‑operated safety on both sides
• Reel mount integrated into the grip
