Our purpose‑built dive pool is the ideal place to take your first breaths underwater. Measuring 11 metres long, 5 metres wide, and reaching a depth of 3.6 metres, it offers plenty of space to learn new skills and build confidence in your SCUBA equipment.
The pool features three stepped training levels - 80 cm, 1.6 m, and 3.6 m - allowing students to progress comfortably through different skill requirements. Solar‑heated and maintained between 17–29°C, it provides a warm, reliable training environment all year round.
Our central Whitianga shop features two fully equipped classrooms, ideal for completing pre‑dive paperwork, theory sessions, and logging your dives at the end of the day. Students and Instructors have access to a wide range of learning resources covering physics, physiology, equipment, geography, and an incredible variety of marine life.
We also offer a comfortable common‑room space with fibre broadband, spare computers, and a kitchenette - perfect for study breaks, catching up on theory, or relaxing during downtime.
We are fortunate to have a large, full, range of quality Mares dive equipment available for hire and use during training.
