If you’ve got a keen‑bean kid who’s desperate to get underwater, our specially designed Kids PADI Open Water training program could be perfect for them. Children can begin their PADI Open Water Diver certification from 10 years of age.
Junior divers complete the same training as adults, but are certified as PADI Junior Open Water Divers until they turn 15. This comes with a few age‑appropriate restrictions to keep them safe while they build confidence:
Ages 10–12: Must dive with a parent/legal guardian or a PADI Professional, with a maximum depth of 12 metres
Ages 12–15: Must dive with any certified adult diver

Give your child the chance to take their very first breaths underwater in the Dive Zone pool, under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Instructor. It’s a fun, confidence‑building introduction to scuba and a perfect first step before moving into our kids’ dive training programs.

Padi Seal Team
After completing the PADI Bubblemaker experience, children are invited to continue their underwater adventure by completing five Aqua Missions to become a certified member of the PADI Seal Team.
Each Aqua Mission is led by a qualified PADI Instructor and held in the Dive Zone pool, giving kids a safe, fun, and supportive environment to build real scuba skills.
Aqua Missions are an exciting way for young divers to learn skills just like the adults - but through a program designed specifically for kids and their pace of learning.
