Try Dives From Our Dive Boat

Think you might like to learn to dive but not sure if its for you?  Our Try Dive experience  is safe, fun and will leave keen for more!  Imagine what it is like to breathe underwater, to hover in a weightless world with marine life of all colours, shapes and sizes surrounding you.  Our Try Dives are designed to offer you a new and unique experience and to see if you want to take the next step to become a certified PADI diver.  We offer a fantastic and highly scenic day out on our purpose built dive boat.  You will enjoy the stunning scenery of the Mercury Bay and either head to one of our many dive sites around the Mercury Islands or into our local Marine Reserve area (Cathedral Cove). To take part in this experience you MUST be able to swim to a reasonable level (200 metres) and feel confident in the sea. You will do one dive to a maximum of 12 metres, with your Instructor holding your hand all the way – literally if you like! 

• Minimum age of 12 years
• Must be able to speak and understand English fluently
• Must be able to swim (200 metres)

The Try Dive Experience is subject to availability.

This course is a scuba dive experience only - it does not certify you to dive without a qualified instructor.  But should you wish to go on to undertake your PADI Open Water training with Dive Zone Whitianga on completion of your Try Dive Experience then we will discount that course cost by $150.00. (You would need to pay for your PADI Open Water course within 3 months from date of Try Dive Experience.)

Please make sure you have 24 hours after your Try Dive before flying.
